The iphone/Ipad camera opens us up to more creative expression, whether you use it as a life diary or as a way to create artistic pictures. Many pro photographers have embraced it as another way to express their creativity. Learn the Basics
After an introductory lecture on using some basic Apps and techniques for good phone photography, we’ll go out and make pictures using the iPhone or your iPad. I'll discuss various apps for controlling focus and exposure, HDR and slow shutter apps, and specialized cameras such as the Hipstamatic.
The Camera as the Digital Darkroom
Learn how to use special Apps to create artistic results, including layering, blending, painting, and retouching. We'll process the pictures we made around Coupeville.
Take home pieces of art
Learn about printing procedures for optimal results. A detailed list of recommended apps to purchase will be sent just before the class for students to prepare.
We had an amazing time playing with our phones in Mexico in additional to our regular photography. Brenda shared helpful ideas & a list of Apps to get us started.
