Let’s face it – many of us are making photographs that we hope will be seen, shared, acknowledged, awarded, even sold — and why not? Expressing ourselves is at the core of it for photographers who do it for the love of the art form.
Some of us are also in it for – dare I say it – the ‘sale’. Most artists are not good at sales – but thankfully today, online galleries and websites make it easier for us to present our work to be seen by many – and hopefully purchased.
Yet before we can consider selling, we need to evaluate our work carefully, against the marketplace, yes, but more importantly against an honest personal standard of quality. Does our photography have impact? Does it showcase our unique vision or style? Do we have bodies of work, collections that are thematic?
I’ll be discussing these ideas and more in my online presentation on April 17th, 2021 at 6 PM PDT.
During this Art of Photography Conference, online worldwide on April 17th from 10 AM-10 PM (British Time), a roster of incredible photographic artists and speakers will be presenting, including Nat Coalson, Nevada Wier, Guy Tal, Dan Burkholder, Julieanne Kost, and Tony Sweet
If you want to learn more about how to refine your vision and create strong bodies of fine art photographs, this conference is not to be missed!
