This is a unique opportunity to master landscape and nature photography skills while exploring an amazing desert environment. This place challenges you to see more deeply, to find the beauty in the stark contrasts of the land forms, textures, and patterns. Refine your vision in this workshop with two professional outdoor photographers who are experienced instructors. Jed and Brenda have made well over a dozen trips to Death Valley, and are intimately familiar with popular and off-the beaten-path locations. This workshop is designed to provide you with insights and tips to push your vision towards making personally expressive images.

NAMIBIA is a terrific, wild place of unique desert environments, oases, wild animals, unusual plants, abandoned towns, amazing night skies, coastal dunes, world’s tallest dunes, ghost trees, flamingoes, and a wonderful geological story that unfolds as we travel from destination to destination through this land. Unlike many tours that just scratch the surface – the iconic highlights – we take you on a deeper journey into some areas other tours don’t go.

“Love your teaching style. I’ve learned alot from online sessions lately and can’t wait to get into the field with you!“ Beth D.
“Thank you again for a wonderful photographic adventure. Your positive, cheerful attitude and infectious enthusiasm for photography affected the whole group. We all had a good time together. They say that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but this old dog learned a lot – so much that I had to make a list of “lessons learned” in my notebook to make sure that I do not forget.
“I’m eagerly looking forward to our next adventure.” Jim M.
“Thank you so much for an excellent session, and overall conference as well!” Cindy S.
