Scotland’s Highlands
Sept 25 – Oct 4, 2022
Join me on a journey into a land of hauntingly beautiful landscapes. Windswept hills, forests, moors, bogs, streams, rivers, lochs, and the rugged sea coast all add up to an amazing amount of places to explore and photograph Scotland’s wild highlands. We’ll photograph Rannoch Moor, the majestic mountain Buchaille Etive Mor, Loch Leven & the Pap of Glencoe and the magnificently located Castle Stalker.
Moving on to the Isle of Skye, we’ll spend time photographing Sligachan and the Cuillin Hills, the Quirang range and the Old Man of Storr, the Fairy Pools, and other lesser known locations that our local guide loves to offer us all something different to bring home in our portfolio of the Scottish Highlands.
Shaggy-faced Highland cows will watch us curiously as we travel past their pastures, backed by rolling hills of moorland, while sea birds soar around the rugged cliffs and dive into the Sound. While emphasis is on landscapes and scenes, we will pass through quaint fishing villages and the towns, offering you an opportunity to create images there as well.
This tour is a ways out, for sure but we’re planning ahead! For more information please return to this page around March 2021.
We had a great time with you and learned so much about landscape photography. Thank you.

What you will learn
Our tours are instructional tours, and we love to help our guests make the best pictures possible. It helps if you know your camera gear and the basics of photography, but no matter what your skill level, I will help you see creatively and assist in technique as needed.
